Heather H.H. Baugher

About:

Heather Baugher was born and raised in the Chagrin Falls area and graduated from Hathaway Brown High School.  She attended Connecticut College for two years and then finished her undergraduate degree in mathematics and secondary education at Hiram College.  She completed one year of graduate work in mathematics at the University of Virginia before returning to the high school classroom.  She taught high school mathematics in Virginia for two years and then moved home to Ohio, where she has been teaching mathematics at Kenston High School ever since.

Currently, Heather works to inspire and motivate her students to think critically about mathematics and develop strong problem solving skills, while mastering the mathematical content required by each course.

Heather lives in West Farmington on a Christmas tree farm with her husband, Jesse, and their two children, Lily and Charlie.  As a family they enjoy swimming, hiking, being outdoors, and traveling.
